We are a family that is dedicated to saving joeys of both kangaroos and wallabies that are orphaned each year mainly due to the mother being hit by trucks and cars. Wombat babies known as puggles as are echidna babies also need life long care. Ring tailed possums are also occasionally found on the ground or near a Mum who’s passed away. The average life span of these animals can exceed 20 years. We also rescue injured birds of prey which we hand to specialist carers. Wild fires leave a devastating number of injured or orphaned animals many needing vet levels of aftercare. Our focus is on Australian native wildlife many of which are becoming endangered.
